This 2019 1 oz Silver Austrian 825th Anniversary Leopold V BU is a fitting tribute to the story of Duke Leopold V, the key historical figure who forged the difficult path to the establishment of one of the most famous and trusted mints in the world. The coin's obverse features the equestrian seal of Leopold V, depicting him as a strong military commander on horseback, proudly displaying his banner and shield. Inscriptions include "REPUBLIK OSTERREICH" arched at the top rim, with the coin's face value, "1,50 EURO . 2019" and its weight, "1 UNZE FEINSILBER" at the bottom. The coin's reverse features Duke Leopold V, battle-ready in full armor. The detail of the scene is incredible! From the prominently displayed, highly-ennobled broad sword tightly grasped in both hands, to the intensely focused expression on his face, his noble, yet commanding presence is powerfully revealed.
